Step by step assembly instructions through Pick by Light system
Assembly workstations equipped with the SETAGO® Pick by Light worker guidance system guarantee error-free execution of the individual process steps. The worker assistance system uses a combination of images, videos and sensors to ensure that the worker can handle each step of the assembly process without any problems.
The handling is very simple: the worker guidance system presents digital work instructions to the employees. These show which component must be assembled next, where the component is located and how it is assembled professionally. Correctly executed work steps initiate the next process step. If the worker accidentally picks up the wrong material or uses an unsuitable torque when tightening, this is signaled immediately and the assembly process stops automatically. Only after correction can the assembly process be continued. In this way, errors are eliminated, product quality is ensured and productivity is increased.
